Pulling a Sled

Annabelle pulled a sled with cones and a cinder block in it! She was awesome! I was behind her walking directing her where to go. Lori sat on Triton and walked around on him they did some figure 8's and the first 3 games of Parelli, friendly, porcupine, and driving. He walked on a tarp an pushed a ball. Annabelle and him are in love if he can't see her he calls for her.

Today was very exciting! Mark adopted his first horse whose track name was Q border guard. He has re-named him Triton. A beautiful bay 16 hands. Annabelle and him get along great he is very smart he's a little nervous and doesn't trust humans but thats to be expected. He loves his pasture mate Bu-Bu they are already attached at the hip.

22 Feet Away

Today we tried things at the end of my 22ft line. She was a little spunky today bucking and rearing to tell me she didn't want to trot a weave. Eventually she did it. I sent her to the pedestal and she put all 4 feet on like she was a pro! She backed into her stall but I wasn't able to do it from 22ft away. Overall a good day. Mark got a horse!

Liberty Sideways

We didn't have much time to work today, but we practiced some things on liberty (on the ground with no line). Including going sideways from zone 1! As I walked sideways in front of her so did she. She is sticking her butt out a little bit so shes going diagonal but I took what I could get. We also did circle game with a jump on liberty. She went over it both directions.

Trail Ride

Went on a trail ride today with my best friend Jilessa she rode Romeo. Annabelle had no problem being the leader and didn't even try to rush back home. She tripped 3 times and we almost went down! Got some different food that has a little more fat content protein and fiber.

Got in to the fast track in Colorado for the end of August! So excited.

     Starting our own blog upon peoples request. I will try and update it as much as possible to keep everyone in the loop and let everyone know on a (hopefully) daily basis what Annabelle and I have worked on. I hope that it will also help me keep track of my own progress as well. Happy Blogging!
